This is my first attempt at an environment and programming language for thinking in. I'm calling it fancynote .
The long term goal of fancynote is something approaching a maintainable wiki . Sustainable digital gardening. A permaculture of thought.
I want to explore the intersection of programming languages and note-takings tools and see what interesting things emerge. I want to seamlessly transition between writing notes and writing programs for processing and interacting with my notes.
I want a tool to help me manage information and wield it to enrich my life and further my goals.
I'm doing this less because I think no other tool would meet my needs and more because it's interesting! I care about my tools and want to experiment with them, and the best way to do that is to work with a stack I understand every line of. Also, it's a great way to learn about all sorts of things.
